The Press Tent is an online bloggers network, which provides a platform for brands and PR companies to share their events with bloggers from the North West. This week I was invited to attend their first ever bloggers event, which was exciting for themselves and for all the bloggers attending! The event was held at the Escalator in Manchester which was the perfect venue! I also discovered a new coffee house 'Grindsmith' which I'd never heard of but I will be going again! I was greeted with a glass of champagne which I couldn't accept with only being 17 and all - but the offer was nice. The atmosphere was high with plenty of blogger chat, a DJ and the guys mixing cocktails, thanks to Luc Belaire, Licor 43, Luxardo Cocktails, Illuminati Bar Burnley and Cellar Trends. There were also free cocktails courtesy of Revolucion De Cuba next door. Surely there was some tipsy bloggers about! :)
There was many stalls set up with brands to showcase their awesome stuff - this is my favourite part as I always discover new stores that I never would have found otherwise! We also recieved some discounts so all that money I've saved is about to get spent - oops. In the above photos you can see the stalls from Twinface they had some beautiful bohemian pieces and some food treats. I love the Polaroids! Then there is the makeup bags from Rock On Ruby, which are brand new and will be online next week! 'Selfie Preperation Kit' this one is my favourite!
The next photo is of two bags created by Wicker Wings. These are beautifully handmade - wow! When you buy a bag with them you help with their 'Bag for Bag Mission' this means a bag is given to children in China with a book inside and your personalised letter to them. I was told that this was to help their education and inspire them! The board in the photo was lots of children with their notes and smiles! How amazing is this?
There was also a room full of KoKo Couture hair pieces and extensions, I saw lots of bloggers trying them out! They showcased their bags too, I really wish I had this silver sparkly clutch last year, it would have gone perfectly with my prom dress! I had tons of photos of racks of clothing from NaaNaa Clothing, Miss Foxy, Madam Rage and Llunaa so I couldn't narrow it down. They all had gorgeous numbers and I will be snooping online later.
A big thank you to The Press Tent for a lovely event and to all the brands that contributed and showcased. And thank you to the companys that contributed to the goodie bag I bought home: I recieved a Colour Freedom Ultra-Vibrant hair colour (I want to be a red head for a while), Kiehls samples and free consultation, NaaNaa Clothing tote bag, Miss Foxy 20% discount, Vita Coco drink, Popchips, Knock Knock ASAP sticky notes (I'm a sucker for cute stationery) and Gosh Liquid Eyeliner.
