In a year I change from foundation to foundation, once one bottle is up I can't help but experiment with a new one. These two foundations have been on my favourite list this year and definitely I will be repurchasing again and again next year.
To begin with, the Maybelline Superstay 24 Hour Foundation which was only £8.99 from Boots, I absolutely love this liquid foundation! I bought the Ivory shade, seeing as when I buy Rimmel foundations I always get this shade. However, it was a lot more darker than my usually shade but I really didn't mind as it is really natural. It makes my skin feel soft and look flawless, definitely one of the best cover ups! The bottle says 24 hours, which I wouldn't know, but it does stay on for very long, I usually feel like my foundation wears off during the day but I don't when I am wearing this and I don't have to reapply. My skin isn't that bad at the moment and I don't have oily skin so I literally apply the smallest blob ever on my hand and it covers my whole face and I love the way it looks - it's very natural! I am really happy with this foundation, and it will be joining me in 2014!
Lastly, the Studio Mac Fix Powder Foundation, I got this for Christmas last year and have been using it for a whole year - I love it! The cover up is great, I don't use any concealer. It makes my skin look flawless. I remember the first time I used it I felt like my face had been photoshopped smooth. I have it in the shade C2 which I think I won't be getting next time as it is very pale and I have started to use a slightly darker foundations than my skin tone. The only downfall of this product - and only because of my skin type - I have extremely bad dry skin in the winter so unfortunately I can't use it as it dries up my skin even more and makes my face feel really stiff. However, I always have my liquid foundation to use in the winter!
